Aok Sokunkanha is a Cambodian singer

Cambodian young fans are strongly supporting female singer from Reaksmey Hang Meas Production, Aok Sokunkanha, with beautiful voice. And she is more famous than other female singers in the production. She is good at singing classical, rock and fast songs. In addition, she is good at dancing as well.

Aok Sokunkanha was born on September 19, 1986 in Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Capital. Aok Sokunkanha is the first daughter in the family and nowadays, she is living with her young sister and widowed mother in Phnom Penh aft her mother got divorced with her father. Presently, her father is living in Australia.

Aok Sokunkanha studied at University of Fines and Arts of Khmer classical dancing. Firstly, she was former members of EV (Ear Vathana) band in 1998 with Youk Thethratha, Khum Bunnadeth, Sem Sangvat, and Bou Vichet. She was singing with this group while she was studying at university.

After graduating university, she sang at U2 club at night and recorded songs for Reaksmey Steung Sangke as well.

In 1997, she was invited to perform at United States of America with Preap Sovath and You Disco and she also got success in her performing over here.

At present, she has been recording for Reaksmey Hang Meas Production. And she is one of famous singer in the production.

Besides of recording songs and performing, she is running her own business. And she is having relationship with a musician. But they do not set the specific date of their wedding yet.
